August 3:	KMS CTO and ISSE Patrick Guerin speaks at Black Hat 2011 about NSA Elliptical Curve (EC) approval process and employment opportunities.
June 7:	KMS awarded a Task Order to support the Office of Naval Research (ONR) Intelligence Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) Thrust Area's Entity Resolution 1 (ER1) Demonstration by designing, installing and managing a four by five kilometer secure tactical wireless network, and providing Test and Evaluation (T&E) services to wireless stationary and Mobile Ad-Hoc network (MANET) sensors and sensor platforms operating in ER1.
June 7:	KMS awarded a Task Order to provide Information System Security Engineering and C&A support services to the Navy PROGRAM Executive Office Command, Control, Computers, Communication and Intelligence (PEO C4I) PMW 160.1 Wireless Networks program in support of the Wireless Reach Back System (WRBS) and Fleet Wireless Personal Data Assistant (PDA) systems.
April 13:	KMS awarded subcontract to provide RDT&E support services to Naval Research Laboratories (NRL) including Research in Management of Distributed Networks, Modeling and Simulation of Computer and Communication Based Systems, Software and Hardware Design, Research in Wireless Mobile Ad-Hoc and Sensor Networks, R&D and Development of Cyber-Attack Technologies related to Mobile Ad Hoc Networks, and Experimentation and Testing.
April 8:	KMS awarded a two-year, $800,000 contract funded by Office of Naval Research (ONR) Command, Control, Computers and Communication (C4) Thrust Area to design, develop, and demonstrate the NSA Suite B-enabled Secure Mobile Architectures via Layered Cryptographic and Authenticating Transport Mechanisms (SMALLCAT) Framework.
March 31:	KMS awarded a subcontract extension to provide Key Personnel to support Joint Program Management Information System (JPMIS) System Administration, Test and Evaluation (T&E) and JPMIS Test Director Support for the JPM IS prototypes, experiments, and systems (including fielding and support services),for the Joint Warning and Reporting Network (JWARN), the Joint Effects Model (JEM), the Joint Operational Effects Federation (JOEF), the Joint Total Assets Visibility and Reporting Warehouse (JTAVRW), the JWARN Integration Capability (JIC), and Homeland Security/Homeland Defense (HLS/HLD) Shared Web-enabled Common Operational Picture (WebCOP) pilots.
March 11:	KMS awarded a Task Order to provide Information System Security Engineering (ISSE), Certification and Accreditation (C&A) services, and OCONUS Installation and Test & Evaluation support to the Space and Naval Warfare System Command (SPAWARSYSCOM) and Chief of Naval Operations Deep Lightning Bolt (DLB) Network End to End Monitoring (NEEMO) deployable prototype in the Terminal Fury 2011 (TF11), Talisman Saber 2011 (TS11), Ulchi Freedom Guardian (UFG11) exercises.
March 9:	KMS awarded a subcontract for engineering services to survey, design, procure, install, and test secure wireless networking equipment at and connecting USMC Base Camp Smith Hawaii and Puuloa Range Hawaii in support of the SPAWAR System Center Charleston-developed Electronic Security System (ESS).
February 14:	KMS opens office and Research, Development, Test and Evaluation (RDT&E) lab facilities in Colorado Springs, Colorado focusing on Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) wireless, Information Assurance (IA), and Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) systems/technologies..
February 8:	KMS awarded Task Order to provide system engineering and information assurance support to define, design, integrate and document NSA Elliptical Curve (EC) cipher-capable hardware with current Mobile Modular Command and Control M2C2 systems to improve wireless data communication capability between Marine Corps afloat and ashore network infrastructures.
